By being able to see all your approval requests in one overview and selecting multiple items to process at once, you will be a lot more efficient than processing these items one by one on each approval request detail page. Imagine the time you save by managing requests from one overview!
You can place an overview of your approval requests on any Lightning page you like. As an approval manager you can have a quick overview of, for example, the opportunities you need to approve. And as a submitter you can easily track your submitted items on your home page.
Organize your approval requests in configurable list views. You can for example have a list view for pending approval requests of a specific object or approval process and have fields related to this object included in the list view.
List views with approval requests are great! But what if you, for example, want to mass approve opportunities below a certain amount? No worries: using quick filters you can easily filter on any standard or custom field and select all resulting requests for mass approval.
As an approver you like to know the details of an approval request, before you approve or reject the item. Navigating to each and every approval request record is now not needed anymore! Simply view the relevant record details as columns in the table or in a popover. Now that you have all information available in one overview, you will process your approval requests without cumbersome work and with full confidence!
Want to quickly process your approval requests? Now you can use the Salesforce mobile app to approve or reject items fast and intuitively on your mobile by swiping items left or right. Also the custom list views and the defined related record fields are available, so that even on mobile you know the exact details of an item before you approve or reject it.
When you have many records to submit for approval, it can be a time consuming task going to each and every record page to submit it for approval. No need for that anymore! Just add a 'Submit for Approval' button to your object list views. We recommend creating a specific 'Ready for Approval' list view, so that you can select multiple records and than submit them in one go.
Did you submit many records for approval, and afterwards realize that something was forgotten? No problem. You can now easily recall pending submitted approvals, using the Recall mass action.
After submitting records for approval, you want to know what happens to them. With the approval list views, you can easily track all your pending, approved, or rejected approval requests.
Easily personalize list views with approval request and related record information relevant to you, via intuitive list view controls on the Approval Requests page. Administrators can also create advanced Approval Request list views for all users or for a group of users, via Custom Metadata Types in the Setup.
When keeping an eye on the pending approval requests and to prevent that they fall into obscurity, users with the "View All Data" system permission can see all approval requests that are 'assigned to' or 'submitted by' any user, and - with the right permission - mass approve, reject, reassign, or recall those.
